Real Estate Contract - Name of Term for Conditions

Dear experts,

I have a requirement to be satisfied in a project. For a Real Estate Contract, Name of Term will be used to inform the invoicing plan number.

Regarding information about this field, "the text for terms in the Term group is determined automatically and cannot be changed"...is there any way to allow the user modify this field?

I need validate the value for it too when user is saving, checking if in this field, invoicing plan number has been filled and it's a right value. Where could I do this validation? I know the Badi BADI_RE_CN_CN, but I can't find how to get Terms (and name of these) for conditions list values to validate them.

Hello,

pictures you provided are little bit confusting. Text field you printed in the first screen is text for Posting term. This is normaly editable by the user. Note: "The text for terms in the Term (lengh of contract) group is determined automatically and cannot be changed" refers to term terms } - (this data type is shared in booth screens).

Validation of this field is possible in mentioned badi - method check_all, field xterm in the table of payment terms exported from fm 'API_RE_CN_GET_DETAIL':

Implementation for BADI BADI_RE_CN_CN, using FM 'API_RE_CN_GET_DETAIL' has just been the solution for the requirement.

Hi,

Are you going to use it in every condition? It would require you to have different posting terms every time you have a new condition to be posted. Have you checked if you can use other fields in VICNCN?

Thanks for your reply but i can't use any field from VICNCN because validation is over Term for each condition and no at real estate contract level.
