Why does compression with zero elimination not create an E-table in BW on Hana?

I compressed a standard BW Cube that has an external Hana view. I cannot find the 'E' table and the 'F' table still has records in it. The job did not fail, but can anyone tell me what happened? Did all go as expected? Is this some new functionality in BW 7.4 SP16 on Hana 1.0?
