Client copy problem, SAP_UONL

Hello, we created a new client in SCC4 and, I assumed a copy of data was already done into the client so I did a copy of users without authorization profiles or role, i.e. copy profile SAP_UONL.

At this point all the users from the source client can log in, such as my own user and sap*, but none of the users can run any transactions. Therefore I can't do a proper client copy into this client to fix this issue.

Is there anything I can do to get back into my new client?

-Thanks in advance,

Richard Bailey

Hi,

After copying the SAP_UONL User Without Authorization Profiles and Roles did you import the request into the new client and performed post processing in SCC7.

Hello Rakesh,

Thanks for your reply. After the client copy using SAP_UONL I logged off the system and now when I log on as anyone and try to run transactions it always tells me "Not authorized" even if the user is SAP* or DDIC. I just tried to log in as SAP* and run SCC7 but got the same error.

Hi,

As all the users got deleted from the target client.

Delete SAP* at the database level and perform the action again and follow all the steps of client copy.

Search the forum you will get many threads on how to delete the SAP* at db level and reset the password.
