Data services: reusable script?

We want to pass the job id of an external scheduler to our batch jobs to finally put them into the tables such that it is logged which run of the external job run is responsible for the entry.

As this is the same for all jobs we would like to reuse the script but do not know how to make a script reusable?

How can we achieve this?

To make a script re-usable, place it inside a workflow and call it in your jobs.
