Dashboards 4.1: Cannot Access External Data

BI Server 4.1 Service Pack 8 Enterprise, Dashboards 4.2 and 4.1 installs, we are randomly getting the error:

Cannot Access External Data

com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException

This is a BIWS from a scheduled Webi report. The report runs fine and we are able to load the WS via a web browser. The only way we seem able to resolve this issue is by completely deleting the web service and rebuilding it.

Is this a bug? It appears to randomly impact some dashboards. Other dashboard pulling from the same database do not have issues.

Tried:

crossdomain policy.

Tomcat Restart.

This is a bug with the web sevices

Check the KBA the SAP note 2114577 - Dashboard is randomly not complete when consuming multiple different "Document As A Web Service" web services.

We need to uncomment the parameter for raylight processing in BI 4.2
