SuccessFactors Employee Central to ERP Employee Data iFlow - Unexpected character '5'

Hi,

We are busy implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central with HCI/SCPI as integration layer. When I deploy the SuccessFactors Employee Central to ERP Employee Data iFlow for the first time I get the following error:

Error Details org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Error reading XMLStreamReader: Unexpected character '5' (code 53) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1], cause: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character '5' (code 53) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1]

When I deploy it again, it works perfectly.

Any suggestion on what might the problem or where I can look to trace the problem? I checked in SRT_LOG and did not see anything funny.

We are getting similar error

"caused by "WstxUnexpectedCharException:Unexpected character 'j' (code 106) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1]" "

Please can you help us how did you resolve your issue.

Hi Deon-

We have solved this by importing all the SCC Certificates into SAP ECC system, complete chain of Certificates (Top to Bottom) are imported into ECC system, Complete HCI Certificates are uploaded into ECC and the same time imported SAP ECC system certificate into SCC & HCI.
