How to delete one product category from a product

Hi,

Via csv, I have uploaded products in hybris marketing, and assigned them to categories.

I accidentally assigned product 1234 to HIER1-CAT1 and also to HIER1-CAT2

How can I remove HIER1-CAT2 from product 1234.

In the Marketing Application jobs I only find "delete product categories" which would delete my whole CAT2 (not desired) or "delete product" which would delete my whole product 1234 (not desired) ...

Hi Joyca,

with the new release 1802 we have added a method DELETE to the ODATA Service API_MKT_PRODUCT_SRV, which supports you to delete an assignment of a product to a product category. For more details please refer to our integration guide.

So it will be then like in the payload example from sap help under "Create Product with 2 Product Category Assignments" but then with a DELETE where there is a POST now on the line that sais "POST ProductOriginDataSet(ProductID='Mocca',ProductOrigin='SAP_ERP_MATNR')/ProductCategoryAssignments HTTP/1.1" ?

no, there is a dedicated payload example available for the method DELETE in the latest integration guide of 1802 release, please check
