deactivate SLOC from ATP but stock i SLOC still to be included in MRP run

Hi all experts !

I have a problem w deactivating ( exclude) one SLOC from ATP without spoiling MRP run.

How do you exclude one SLOC from ATP but let same SLOC still to be included in MRP run ?

Transport time from SLOC 1 (where product is produced and temporarily stored) to SLOC 2 (where product is stored and shipped) is too long. We promise (ATP) in VA01 more than we are able to deliver.

Hi

Since you wish to use only one storage location for the ATP check...you should see that the required Storage location is determined in the sales order and then the system carries out Availability check only in that storage location and will not consider the stock in the other storage location. You can check this by manually entering the storage location in the order at Header - Shipping tab - storage location field.

Hi,

I see that my description of problem was not precise. In fact we have 3 Sloc, and need to exclude (deactivate) only one of them for ATP in VA01. We like to keep 2 Sloc in ATP , but keep all 3 for MRP run. Volum of orders and order items are high (most orders placed automatically by EDI) .

So then we are back to the question how to "deactivate SLOC from ATP , but same SLOC still to be included in MRP run" ?
