Hi Gurus,

We are trying to test the connection between SAPphone to SAP Contact Center. If we execute the SPHB transaction when we are creating the telephony server and are assigning the RFC BCM_SAPPHONE we receive the following error:

Error while accessing telephony software: Test is not possible
Message no. T5085
Diagnosis
An attempt was made to access the external telephony software with the help of the settings. Access was not possible.
Further information on the external telephony software:
Function XCHGVERSION not found
Procedure
Check the following settings:
Telephony server: Is the correct RFC destination assigned to the server?
RFC destination: Do the entries specify the right access to the external server?
External software: Is the software installed and ready for operation?

If we test the RFC from SM59, we receive the following error:
Function XCHGVERSION not found

Hi Raj,

you should rather ask Juan, who originally posted this question. I don't remember this being some serious issue - rather some typo or security settings.

Hi Fernando,

Can you see the registered program in SMGW transaction?

If not, do you have line

#VERSION=2

in your reginfo? Despite it looks like comment line, it is mandatory.

Regards,

Dawood.

Hi Dawood,

Yes, the CCtr is registered and the reginfo file is maintained:

TP=* HOST=*

The RFC is:

Hi Juan

Maintaining reginfo file is mandatory ? Basis team trying to explain me that reginfo is an additional security, however can we register program without maintaining reginfo file?. Secondly do we need to open any port between SAP CRM and SAP CCtr ?

Raj

Hi Fernando,

can you see if your BCM/CCtr is registered on your RFC gateway?

How did you define the BCM_:SAPPHONE connection, can you share a screenshot?

Have you maintained your reginfo file on the Netweaver side?

Regards,

Dawood.
