What is the diffrence between Payroll Constant(V_T511K) and Payrolll Parameter(V_T511P)

Hi swapna

Apparently there is not much difference i belvie in V_T511P we can constant with Currency specific Which will be medium for FI module.

Where as V_T511K there is no such attribute

In table V_T511k we can maintain value that means it can be number, Percentage etc

Where as in V_T511P table we can maintain Value which is only amount and currency

Nothing should be modifiable in PRO System check this with basis people or check in T-Code SCC4

V_t511k is modifiable only in Dev server, but V_t511p is modifiable even in production system.
