In short, with Sapscript, this can be done using 'START_FORM' & 'END_FORM'.

How it is doen in Smartform?

There is an option available in the smartform interface.

Check the parameter OUTPUT_OPTIONS and the field TDNEWID equal to 'X'. always clear it before creating spool request
