Is there a way to lock a crystal report parameter in crystal enterprise

Hi,

I'm developing a crystal report which is going to be available to a number of people in my company. I need it to have a watermark when run manually by a user, but I need the watermark removed when run by an application.

My immediate thought was adding a parameter. This, however, would allow the user to modify the default parameter in Crystal Enterprise on the "prompts" -> Edit Values screen.

Is there a way to "lock" a parameter to a default value so that a normal user can't modify it from the prompt screen in Crystal Enterprise?

"Crystal Enterprise" is a name for very old Product. Later it became Business Objects Enterprise (versions XI, XI R2, and XI 3.1) and Crystal Reports Server. Then it became Business Intelligence Platform (versions 4.0 - 4.2).

What version are you using?

You need to do this in the Report. In the Parameter edit screen in report designer. You can select an option which stops user editing prompts.
