Problem to retrieve Item in Invoice

Hi all,

in A/R Invoice although it apears in the 'List of Items' a specific item it CANNOT be entered (even if you choose it) in Invoice Lines (like doesnot exist).

This happens as far as we know only to the specific Itemcode.

This Company database handles more than 7,000 Items (if it has any meaning).

Any Idea?

Vangelis

    Hi Vangelis,

Check that item code uner item master you try to add. Only "Sales Item" can be added to A/R Invoice.

If these items set up wrong, you can only change their property when no transaction occur to them. Otherwise you have to create new items and hold the wrong one.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

    Vangelis,

Are you saying that on the AR Invoice when you press Tab from the Itemcode the item appears in the list but you are unable to select it?

      Hi,

Just wanted to see if anyone else has come across a similar scenario.

I have a client that is unable to get the picklist icon to appear in the Item Code (Item invoice) or GL Account (service invoice) field. So far it seems related to a particular workstation and has happened three times in the past week. When the user logs on to another workstation, this doesn't happen.

They are on SBO 2007A PL38.

In the meantime, they are able to type in the "*" to get the picklist. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen and if you were able to determine the cause.

      Thanks,

      Heather

    Vangelis,

Raise a ticket to SAP in service market place(www.service.sap.com) about this issue with detailed problem description & get opinion from them before going for upgrade.

Do n't use Restore functionality without guidance of SAP.
