OUTBOUND DELIVERY ERROR

hI...

During t code VLO1N, Outrbound delivery..iam getting error as "Item 000010 requires exactly 1 serial numbers for the asset"

What this ???

plse suggest.

i had maintained the serrail number profile for that material..is it problem with that???

hi,

once you enter the serial number (either manually or automatically) in Extras--> serial number please tick on the check box besides the field where you enter the serial number and press ok

this should solve your problem

Hi there,

If I am not wrong, Serial num error you get in VL02N when you try to PGI. Not in VL01N. Serial num will be assigned to items only in deliveries not in order.

In VL02N, select the item, on the menu bar select Extras --> serial num. On the popup screen, select "Create serial num automatically" & click on tick mark.

Check the material master --> sales general plant data. If serial num profile is Z001, it is mandatory. Z002 is optional profile.

But we usually do the serial num assignment before doing the PGI irrespective of the profile.

i have the stock of delivery material with serail number 1,2,3,4

Now after go to extras ...and given serail number 1 ,

system giving me error as

Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 1

Message no. IO304

Diagnosis

There is a serial number obligation, so the number of serial numbers must equal the number of serial numbers in the material document.

You can post the operation only if you entered the correct number of serial numbers previously.

System Response

Depending on the context in which the error arises, the system continues processing, or the required function cannot be performed.

Procedure

You have the following options, for example:

Check that the serial numbers are entered fully.

If necessary, display an error log.

Hi there,

When you already have serial num assigned to the material, why again do you need to do the serial numbers?

When you go to Extras --> serial numbers, when you already find the serial numbers, you should not assign them again.

Also make sure that you always assign serial num automatically. Manual entries may have some errors.

Looking at your error, I guess that the serial num have already been assigned.

we r getting prbm

material stock r availkable in (mmbe) location bt when do delivery(va02 )is shows error material is shortage.
