Access SAP CAL FIORI LaunchPad From FIORI Client

Dear Expert,

We are having certificates errors when trying to access the FLP from the FIORI Client running on Android!

We keep getting the "net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE" once we enter the FLP's URL into the FIORI Client.

It comes with a dialog:

"No Certifcates found".......

SAP FIORI has requested a certificate. Agreeing to this request will allow the application to use this certificate with servers from now on.

You can install certifcates from PKCS#12 file with a.pfx or .p12 file extension.

Install or Cancel

Request Was Denied for Security

We have the following SAP Notes without success: 2467644

We suspect that it is because of the trust issue associated with the domain: "vhcals4hci.dummy.nodomain:44301/xxxxx/xxxxx"

The chrome browser running on the same Android device is able to launch the FLP.

We are running the latest version of the FIORI Client: 1.10.xx

Kindly point us in the right directions to resolve this issue.

Thank You

Hi Bakau,

the appliance does not contain a trusted certificate since SAP can not deliver it in such an appliance format.

Depending on the client type that is accessing the appliance, you will get warnings (e.g. most desktop browsers, Chrome on iOS...) or are blocked (e.g. Safari on iOS or iOS Fiori client).

There might be ways to get it working using a proxy (see an unverified hint for Acrylic DNS e.g. here) or by installing your own certificate.

Best,

Joerg

SAP Fiori Client runs on Cross Walk Browser (In-app browser), you may have to install the certificates to run your app in the XWalk Browser.

You may have to download and install the SSL Certificate in the Android.

Check out the steps here and try:
