Sales order is created with reference to Contract?

Hi All,

We always use to creating a Contract with about thousands of line items. but while creating sales order with reference to our existing Contract, we will give Contract number and click on Item Selection button. all the thousands line item will comes over there.

Here my concern in this selection screen is that we are selecting few Hundreds of item randomly from that list and this process is time consuming.

So my questions here, is there any way to create sales order with reff. to contract. if there is any please provide some suggestion.
