Material Number field Length in Smartform

Hello Gurus,

In a smart form, The field being displayed is GS_IT-MATERIAL. And in global definitions GS_IT is defined as type LEDLV_IT_GEN (Delivery Item: General Data). And in LEDLV_IT_GEN the material field has length 18 characters.

But when the material is more than 14 characters, the remaining characters are being displayed in the next line. How can I make to display the total material number in the same line.

I tried to add spaces before the material number field and left align it. But then the total material number is being displayed in one line but not on the required area but one line down to it.

The problem here is window size may not accomodate space to display 20 digit number, so it is displaying in next line. Try to extend the window size.

try by changing size (alignment) of the window/particular box.
