Possible to send part of business objects webi report in body of email

Hi,

We use bo4 web intelligence and wonder if following possible.

To send part of the report in body of email e.g overall sales figure for week

We will send report as attachment itself but want to have in body of report overall sales figure.

Is this possible and how could we achieve this?

When using publications, you can send a report in HTML format in the body, as well as attach it.

Perhaps you can create a publication with two reports and only send the first report as HTML (overall sales figure) and attach the second report that has the detail?

Thanks all for replies and help - I had forgot to put extension on the output format for attachment.

Now working as expected - 1 document with 1 tab/report in body, 1 tab/report in attachment

As an side is there still no way to set up sap forum forum profile to send e-mail alert whenever someone answers your questions?

There is a way to get alerts- in the forum, click on your profile icon in the upper right hand side of the page, and go to Account Settings, and then Edit Email Notification settings.

Any thoughts why this is - when select output format as excel in std report scjedulimng get as .xls but in this case with publication not so.

Right click on the Publication and first subscribe and after that schedule again .

it should work even i have tested with sending mHTML and Excel both in one email.

In the destinations section have you done any customisation like " any custom name" or any other custom stpes?

Have used the steps to create publication.jpg as per attached shows as success but never got the e-mail after scheduled it.

We regularly schedule webi reports and these are received fine - anything else need to do to ensure get ema-il of publication.

Given scheduling to email of standrad webi reports works woudl have thought email of publication woudl work.

Have you some more information on this setting up publications?

We currently just schedule single reports?

Was having a read through sap note 1633077 mentioned uncheck attachment - from what you are saying sounds like this woudl be a good workaround?
