Extended ECM by opentext can provide functionalities of Document Builder?

Hi all,

I'm quite new to the argument; I've seen that Extended ECM by Opentext is a solution in order to handle document management tasks and it's fully integrated in the SAP ecosystem as well as sharable through several SAP systems (ERP, SRM).

My doubt is as follows: can Extended ECM be used in order to dynamically produce documents (PDFs, typically) by assembling clauses on the basis of conditions that have to be met, as done through Document Builder?

In other terms, considering the use of DocBuilder in creating dynamically some documents strictly connected to procurement processes (integrated with an SRM system)... can Ext. ECM by OpenText replace this older technology and provide similar functionalities?

Thanks, any reference to eventual wikis/documentation is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

M.

Hi Matteo,

I am looking for a tool to manage contract clauses, such as Document Builder. I can´t find new documentation on Document Builder though, so I think it is discontinued. Did you happen to solve your requirement with another tool? I would appreciate your input.

Best regards,

Victoria
