Hi,

I am new to DMS and I want to learn Easy DMS. I checked the sap library but still not clear. So can any one tell me what are the steps there to start and how to link eDMS and SAP. Thanks in advance

Regards,

Ravikanth.

    Hi

Easy DMS is DMS with Windows Interface...

You need to download installation program from

    Service.sap.com/swdc

It allows users to drag Drop files and Creation of DIR from Windows rather than logging in SAP GUI

Let me know if it helps...

      Hi

      Let me clear your doubt...

Via Easy DMS you basically navigate SAP DMS only.

Thus what evr you have in SAP DMS is accessed by Easy DMS (which is WINDOWS based)

Some people find it hard to use SAP GUI hence this Easy DMS (which is Windows Friendly) solution has been developed..

YOu can create / change / Display DIRusing Transaction code (CV01N, CV02N, CV03N) in SAP GUI

Similarly you can create DIR from Easy DMS but it ll be thru Drag drop of file or By clicking menu and thus there is no need of entering Tcode.
