Problem in activating after changing structure of BAPI once released

Hi,

I have created a BAPI which is having 2 import structures. The BAPI was relaesed.

When I changed component type of a field in one of the structure, it is not allowing me to re-activate it.

Can we not make any changes in structure of the BAPI when it is released.

you change the release status To Obsolete

and then change the structures and Generate ,Now set the Status To Release
