Adobe Form usage

Hi All,

I am trying to implement Adobe forms in our company. Hence I request you to provide your comments and suggestion like how we can use adobe forms extensively? Which are all area we can use the adobe forms?

I am looking for the answer like eg. the form can be used to automate HR payroll process.

Adobe Forms is used for 2 purposes.

1. Offline printing.

2. We can embed the forms in Web for user interactive purposes using ABAP/JAVA Webdynpro.

And we can migrate the smart forms to Adobe Forms . You need to study the HR forms that are available in Smart forms & Complexity of these, so that you can migrate to Adobe Forms.

Thank you and I understand that Adobe forms are extended version of Smart forms wherein we can have interactive with users. can you give an example of HR forms which is forcing us to go for Adobe.

And also I have NW04 and R/3 4.6C will it be possible for us to implement Adobe.

How basically this wil work.

Hi,

With R/3 4.6C you can't use Adobe Forms , you need to have a WAS ( Abap and Java ) version 5.0 minimum .

Give me your mail and i can send you an excel file with about 2000 forms available depending on SAP version .
