WEBGUI parameter ~NOSPLASH is not working and not going to WEBGUI for HTML iview

Hi Experts,

Since out upgrade to sap_ui 7.40.20 we have a problem with parameter ~NOSPLASH in de webgui service.

The parameter ~nosplash is not working, when we start the transaction in the portal. When we start the transaction in ECC system then the webgui for html screen doesn't appear. But in the portal it does. I couldn't find another (new) parameter for this, or that this parameter is not longer supported.

ECC version is kernel 7.49.

Portal is 7.40.08

my colleague solved the problem by implementing the notes 2526781, 2546465 and 2596967.

Hi Vo,

while I would recommend that all of these notes be applied, the note provided in Cris answer was the resolution for this "~nosplash" issue

how are you setting the parameter ~nosplash 1 ?

Via URL or set in SICF

Could the Portal be passing the parameter as an iView parameter (~nosplash 0)

> default host ->sap -> bc -> gui -> sap -> its -> webgui (double click) ->'GUI Configuration' ?

What is the SAP_BASIS of the ECC that is on the kernel 7.49?
