PO & GR number range...

Hi all,

Is it possible to have number range for PO at plant level. Is there any user exit available.

Similarly, is there any user exit avalable for number range at plant level material type wise for GR & GI documents please.

Hi

You can have PO Number ranges based on the Plant Use the User exit MM06E003

There is no user exits for GR & GI Doucments

My requirement is only for satisfing the auditors that all PO from Plant A is there with plant specific serial nos. There wont be any missing nos.

Is there any better way to satisfy Auditors requiremnt in Indian scenario please.

Hi

The user exit will help you to generate the numbers based on the Plant combination.

PO numbers are always genrated without missing any numbers.

Please elaborate your requiremnts & what the auditors requiremnts are.

Hi Kishore,

We have 5 plants. When you create a PO, system will assingn nos for Plant A and for next PO, Plant C and B and E and A like that.

But, as per auditor requirement, they want PO nos for each plant wise, so that they can track all POs belong to particular plant.

using Report ME2N you can check the PO's Plant Wise

If you want to restrict only one Plant ot One PO Then it may be difficult if all the Plants Belong to the Same Compnay Code .

Other wise you can use the User exit & Create the Numbers ranges Pertaining to One Plant

Say Plant A has series Starting with 100

Plant B - Starting 200

In that way we can maintain the logic.

I have never seen an auditor asking questions on the numbering of the PO.

As long as it is Valid he should not have any Problem

Hi,

For PO No Ranges, you can use User exits MM06E003, M06B0003 & M06B0004

For GR & GI No ranges, there are no exits available.
