Cannot read files from /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA97/SMDAgent/applications

Dear all ,

I wonder if someone help me for above error actually what happen when wily enterprise manager 9.5 try to connect diagnostic agent of solution manager then got some permission issue.

[ERROR] [SapPush Heartbeat] [Manager.SapPush] Cannot read files from /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA97/SMDAgent/applications

I found logs on below path :- /usr/sap/ccms/apmintroscope/logs

file :- IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log

Hi Ashish,

Initially it seems to be a permission issue with the file system /usr/sap/DAA/.hence first check the permission of /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA97 file.

Try with Read, Write and Execute permission in the file system /usr/sap/DAA/. Use below command -

cd usr/sap/DAA/

chmod -R 777 *

If still you are getting similar error then, check if your SMD Agent is up and connected with Solution Manager. Check this in Agent Admin portal.

Are you able to access files of the folder? check access rights of the specific folder.
