Unable to save the selected field in MASS transcation

Hi all

When I Select the Delivery Completed check box in Transaction MASS and then click on Save Message appears and States its Changed but when i Re-login to the Transcation I find its Unchecked. Can anyone please help me to know if there are any Background Configurations to be checked. Thanks in advance

you probably did not hit the save button after you have applied the new value.

Enter Object "BUS2012" i.e. Purchase orders in MASS or Use MEMASSPO and then try.

and what object do you process in transaction MASS?

I am using the object BUS2012 in Table MASSEKPO

Instead of using table MASSEKPO, use T. Code MEMASSPO and do and then check.

let me explain step by step

T-Code MEMASSPO

Select the line MESSEKPO execute

Enter the Document Range and Item Range execute

Select the field Deliv Completed

Select the check box in the corresponding Purchasing Document Number

Save (Message Appears AS document Saved)

Logoff and Login Again

The Check box is removed( Not selected)

let me explain how I would do it:

Transaction MEMASSPO

Select table MESSEKPO execute

Enter the Document Range and Item Range execute

now you see all records to be changed.

Click button "select fields". Pop-up is coming.

Choose delivery completed field and continue.

delivery completed field has appeared and you can now enter the new value (X).

Click the colomn header of the field to be changed.

Then click button change field values.

You can see immediatly the new values in the records below.

If you click save, then the new values are written to the database.

The screen changes to "messages from update tasks"

Read the messages. Even you have a green light, the message may tell you 0041049493 : Change Deliv. Compl. could not be effected

which means it was not saved

If that is the case, then click the EDIT object button. And try the same change. MAybe you get a better message.

If there is really no error message, then check SM13 for posting failures.

Hi,

In MASS transaction, when you are doing a mass change of a purchasing document, the following issue is possible.

Assume there are 50 line items in the purchasing doc. and if the 20th line item's material is blocked for all transactions. In this case, the mass change happens only for the first 19 line items. From 20 to 50, the change will not be effected.

Check for the logs from where you can get into the exact detail of where the problem prevails.
