Hi All,

We´ve got a freshly installed Netweaver04 SR1, I´d like to know if there is a procedure to install SAP Support packages, i.e in which order to install them?

Thanks,

Siavauch

Hi Siavauch

There is no such order to apply support package.

Down load the support packages you want to apply and put it into eps/in directory.

Execute t-code SPAM select all support packages and check the requirement by clicking on the last supportpackage that you put in the /in directory.

FOR EXAMPLE -

You have to apply ABAP Support package and you already have SAPKA70011 and you want to apply SAPKA70012.You download SAPKA70012 and unpack using SAPCAR and put the unpacked files to eps/in.

Goto SPAM in client 000 select all support packages and click on SAPKA70012 you can see the requirement for SAPKA70012 you full fill the requirement then apply it.If any other types of packages are missing then first apply it.For that follow the same process.

Hi,

An other good practice is to check OSS notes to see if there are specific problems whith SP imports.

Some times, some SPAM import queues are known to create problems and best to be avoided.

Some times some queues are recommended.
