Hallo,
where can I find a documentation of the Crystal Reports 2008 Print Engine (Crpe32.dll).
Hello,
Using CRPE32.dll to write code using direct API calls (e.g. PEOpenEngine, PEOpenPrintJob, etc.) was retired after Crystal Reports 10. The [Crystal Reports XI Developer Library|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXI/en/devlib.htm] lists the [Retired Developer APIs|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXI/en/en/RDC_SDK/rdc_com_dg_doc/doc/rdcsdk_com_doc/Deprecated_Reference2.html] - including CRPE32.dll.
This information is also available in the [CR XI R2 Developer Library Guide|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2SP2/en/devsuite.htm] - [Retired Developer APIs|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2SP2/en/en/RDC_SDK/rdc_com_dg_doc/doc/rdcsdk_com_doc/Deprecated_Reference2.html].
With CR2008 and Service Pack 0 you can develop windows or web applications using the Crystal Reports .NET SDK.
Sincerely,
Dan Kelleher

Inaki, what you are trying to do is so unsupported and at this time, essentially a hack. We can provide "best effort support", but no guarantees that we will get this to work...
Since this works on your dev computer and not on a deployed computer, the 1st question is; have you deployed any CR runtime to that client computer? If not, see if running this MSI:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100005985862008E/cr120_redist_install.zip
on the client computer installs the neccessary runtime. I have no idea if this will be enough, never tried this with CRPE APIs and never want to. But it is the minimum you will have to do. Let me know how things go once you have run the MSI on the client. If there are errors, please document those accurately.
Ludek
