Hi all experts,

When i create a PR using ME51N. After that i using ME52N to delete the PR item. At last i using ME54N to release the PR.

The problem is why the item which has been deleted still can subject to release strategy.

Can someone explain to me?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi,

When ever your rerlease strategy has applied to your PR you are not supposed to delete that PR.

See general scenario...suppose u have created PR. Release strategy has applied. Now it's ready for release. So it goes to their Inbox if work flow applies. Other wise the person who has the release authority he can release with his release code. At that moment you are not supposed to delete that line item...

I think you got my point....

Thanks & Regards

Hi there,

thanks for reply.

In PR, we have a delete function to enable us to delete an item in PR. Since it has a delete function there, it is logic that we can perform deleting of item in PR, right?

The problem is, if the PR is not yet release and we perform delete on a particular item, the PR is still can be released.

Pls advice,

Thanks.

Dear,

Even a line item marked for deletion in PR, it shouldnt be physically. And if release strategy always based on price entered in valuation field. Due to this the release still valid.

Syed Hussain.

HI,

if release strategy is at header , once u have deleted the line item u cant release the same( check message no: MEPO822)

if its at item level, that will be applicable to Item level, so u can...

check the same
