Hi ,

try to create a new domain with SIGN option , after that u need to re-generate TMG for this table .

What is the data type used for the field which is causing the problem?

QUAN => meng_d 13 with 3 dec.

I am not sure of any other way to define this field that will work with my processing.

Hmm, wondering why the table maintainence generator did not generate the field corrected. I would suggest looking at the generated function group associated with the table maintencne, make sure that the output field in the screen can handle a -(negative) value. Go to the screen, click on the element list tab, then click on the Texts I/O Templates tab, look for you field, in the text i/o field, there should be something like _____________V

The "V" represents a space for the negative sign. Make sure your field in the screen has this, if not, add it, and try again.
