working time -? time sheet

hi

iam scenario where i need to maintain TIMESHEET entry

for the employees and i am very new working on

ESS->working time , i can see the leave request ,

but i need working time also with the leave request there

where i can perform time sheet entry.

can any one help me out ? with both showing the

link in the portal and also configuring the time sheet .

please help me out ?

Hi kishore,

For Time sheets on ESS we use CATS .

In ESS Customizations only in Working Time there is an option called Record Working Time.

You need to create a Data Entry Profile and assign the same to the Employee with your different requirements.

If you are looking for 'Record Working Time' link on portal under 'Working Time' sub area , what you need do to is go in to SPRO > CROSS APPLICATIONS COMPONTENTS > HOME PAGE FRMWRK > ASSIGN SERVICE TO SUBAREAS table. Please note , this link would show up by default , however if this has been removed , then here is wehre you need to go.

Leave request to HR,

You cant see leave request in Timesheet, if I understand

you correctly, if you want to then you should make sure that the data from IT2001 is updated in CATSDB.

SO these are two indidual applications
