Dear all,
Anybody aware of a development by SAP to enable an object list in maintenance plans that generate notifications?
I would appreciate any form of news...
Regards,
Harvey
Hi,
I'm not aware of any plans to allow object lists in notifications, definately not available in any current release. Therefore there is no need for object list to be allowed in plans that generate notifications.

Harvey,
The object list is only available in PM/CS ORders (not notifications).
Hence when you create a maintenance plan for a notification you do not see the object list tab.
I have not seen (or heard) anyone doing this before. Maybe you should have a look on OSS.
Failing that, it could be developed something like this:
- Utilise user-exit IPRM0003 (user data) to add your new object list fields
- Utilise user-exit QQMA0001 (user subscreens) to copy object list data from maintenanceplan
- Copy object list data into order (not sure if there's a suitable user-exit/BADI for this. Might need to be a batch program or some form of workflow)

Hi Harvey,
Two features are available for the object list:
An object list, in which you can enter technical objects (equipment, functional locations, assemblies) and notifications
An object list, in which you can enter objects, which are identified by a combination of material and serial numbers, and notifications
You can asign it in the maineteance item .
Also assignement tab provided in the order can be used for changing the object list.

Hi Harvey,
The Object list are assigned to Maintenance item in a Maintenace plan. The objects are either functional locations or equipments or Materail number+ser nos. Whenever you create Call objects (Notification or Order) while scheduling the object list were copy over to it.
Hope you understand.
