How to map non-serialized material in the Ibase

Hi,

Presently we are not maintaining the Ibase but relationship between the superior equipment and its component are maintaining in class and characteristics of equipment level.

Now we are going to use Ibase, Could please through some lights how we will capture the non-serialized material in the Ibase coming from class and characteristics.

For say Battery and Tires are not serialized number since these are coming from external vendor. So I need how will we capture or map in to the Ibase.

Please suggest me at the earliest.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Amitabh

    Hi,

You can use material . Also u can create Material BOM & that can also serve your purpose like Battery,Tire etc, cna have the componetes for one new Material header level of BOM & that can also be assigned to Ibase.
