However, when I logon as Administrator Importing and Exporting functions.
We are running BOXI R2.
When I run DESKI from the Web Server, it works using any Id.
Any ideas ?
Paul
Problem has been resolved by re-installing the DESKI client with SP2.
Thank s for all your help.

Paul

Established how to dowload the FP2.4 and have installed it onto my laptop. Error 1904 registering ExportSDK.dll while doing so. Once installed, opened DESKI and got the Entry point not found message. Checked one of the forums and was advised to register manually by using regsvr32
"C:\Program Files\Business Objects XI\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86\ExportSDK.dll",
now getting 'Loadlibrary failed xxxx\dll ExportSDK.dll cannot be found' message.

Its not easy for me to access the Citrix Server directly, I need to go through our Server team..
I cannot see the software inventory tool on the start menu of the local build, is it not installed by default ?
According to CMC, it is version 826.
Per an old case I found the following
bug that happened in SP2 (ADAPT00722951) which is resolved in FP 2.4.
I did try the workaround and it does work but its not a solution for us as sensitive folder structures became visible to enerybody.
How do I install client patch FP 2.4 or later ?

Hi Paul,
You've posted your question about a week ago and it still has no answer to it. In order to help you it would be great if you could explain a bit better what is your current issue.
Are you using our SDK? To perform what workflow? What is the observed and expected behavior?
Thanks for these elements so we can try to help you.
Regards,
David

We are using BOXI R2 (11.5.8.826). Installed Enterprise, using Oracle database, then BOXI Client tools onto Citrix Metaframes. Users could retreive and sent to and from repository, no problem.
We then installed the client tools onto local machines. Users can logon but when selecting the Import From Repository, nothing happens.
However, when logging on as Administrator, it works.
Help !!!
ok so userA logs on via citrix deski and all is well
userA logs on to his local version of deski and you can't import, but Administrator can? Does this sum things up?
Can you access the citrix server and run the software inventory tool, do the same from the client and verify both are version 826.
I'm thinking the citrix version is higher.
Per an old case I found the following
bug that happened in SP2 (ADAPT00722951) which is resolved in FP 2.4. The workaround is to make sure that the EVERYONE group has VIEW access to the top level Categories.
So to get the clients to work go to CMC\settings and verify everyone is set to view, this is a work around and the resolution is to patch the client to FP 2.4 or later.
Regards,
Tim
