Hi, SAP report [SAP query Trial Balance Comparative (USD to CAD currency)] shows 4 decimals, let's say $12.3456 which is right. But when exported to excel (.xls), it shows 2 decimals as 1234.56 which was multiplied by 100. We have 2 users, one user's excel shows correct decimals while the other shows wrong as multiplied by 100. Is this related to GUI patch or just excel settings? how can it be fixed?
Hi,
I agree with Bastiann, should be linked to Excel settings. Check this OSS note, for example:
1912461 - Export to excel does not format currency correctly
Also, does it happen when you export to local file or to XLS? Does it happen for specific currency or for all numbers, where you have, say, only two allowed decimals?
Regards,
Eli

see my blog: What to do with my answered questions?
Have one user try it on the other computer to check for excel settings. I would expect excel and usersetting (SAP) combinations to be the cause.

Try this: "The simplest solution is to download a tab separated file and then open this in Excel."
