SUM 1.0 SP21 Error: The command 'disp+work' from tool 'disp+work' could not be executed successfully

Hi Gurus, im trying to patch my SAP ECC systems based on NW7.4 but im unable to get pass the first stage of SUM.

SUM shows 1% progress so far as i was only able to enter the stack xml path and the DDIC and system user passwords.

error:

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_INPUT_CHECK/TOOLVERSXML_EXTRACT!

Last error code set:
Error: The command 'disp+work' from tool 'disp+work' could not be executed
successfully

i updated the hostagent before startingSUM as follows: ./STARTUP confghostagent SID on my HPUX system.

i read a few blocks that suggest i try running disp+work -v as sidadm and i did that successfully. log file does not say much:

Anyone that can point me in the right direction?

Hi All, SAP Note 2317679 was able to point me in the right direction. Mainly HP-UX patches missing.
