Hi Siva Kumar

Yes, BW content needs to be activated for sure.

However there is another option which is practically more useful and provides more insights..it is called Time recording

you can configure or setup time recording which is more beneficial for tracking detailed development or testing or any other efforts.

check below

https://blogs.sap.com/2012/04/24/how-to-configure-solution-manager-71-time-recording/

1931723 - Time Recording Activity Description Empty or Filled with Wrong Activity Description for Some Business Roles

so you might get a good time recording and itsm analytics serving your requirement but check the requirements again.

ofcourse you have many more choices but above might be easier and quicker solution

hope this solves

Thanks

Hi Prakhar,

Thanks for your quick reply!!

I am using ChaRM functionality, precisely expectation is to capture time taken by developers to act on certain transports, I wonder if it can be captured or we may need to code it.

I am aware of ChaRM analytics, in order to activate ChaRM Analytics is it mandatory to activate BW content?

Thanks

Hi Siva Kumar

Do you use ITSM or ChaRM ..... exactly what functionality you use in solman where you would like to do this?

there are multiple options of achieving it depending upon the requirement.

you can use ITSM Analytics for ITSM/ChaRM ..check wiki

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SAPITSM/ITSM+Analytics

Hope this helps but share some information so that community can help you better.

Thanks
