    HI

when you send material for subcontracting you issue challan.so you have to reconcile the quantity ie. quantity should match the quantity you have sent out from the premises

so you reconcile challan . and once challan is reconcilled you complete that challan.

    Regards,

    Hi,

    J1IFQ

If you have sent a subcontractor a number of different challans, all containing the same material, you can automatically specify that the materials should come from the oldest challans first, by choosing "assign quantity" button

Otherwise, for each challan, enter manually the quantity of materials has been returned, and choose "refresh" button the display.

So it avoids the manual entry of the quantities.

    J1IF13

You use this function to close a challan completely after all the materials have been accounted for. If a challan's return date has elapsed, and thus your right to the CENVAT credit.

You can complete a challan if you have accounted for all of the materials in it (and it thus has the status Fully Reconciled). This prevents you from making any more changes to it.
