Additional Ship to Party's for a Sold to

I have a unique request from my client here, they want to create 2000+ ship to parties for one Sold to. Since the Std SAP system is limited to handle only 1000 entrees per partner function as the counter is from 0-999. When the user is trying to create the 1001 SH for that SP the system gives error "There are already 1000 entrees for function SH".

Per my knowledge i can create another custom partner function(ex ZH) so that we have another counter for 1000 entrees available but is there a possibility to extend the rest SH to the same SP using std functionality.
