Hi Team, Friends,

When we processing the invoice layout via VF31 to get invoice details (along with the pdf attachment to the user-id email) as email, the pdf attachment name will be writing as Print Data.pdf as default.

The requirement is to change the pdf attachment file name as Billing document number instead Print Data.pdf

We tried with OSS note 718017 but no use.

Can you please suggest do we have any other OSS notes or user-exits or enhancements to the standard program which processing and can change the attachment name as user expects.

Kindly share your valuable answers.

Thanks,

It would have been ideal, had you explained why !!! The very first option under "Solution" asks you to go through 537832 which should address your requirement.

Hi Lakshmipathi,

1) Why I chose 718017: multiple invoices will be processed one at a time using VF31, so as I understood the OSS note 718017 will achieve for multiple invoices whereas the OSS note 537832 will fail.

2) My issue/requirement here is change in the pdf attachment file name. Are you sure the OSS note 537832 will solve the issue?

Please reply.

Google -> "output email attachment name site:sap.com" -> 8070 items including the same question (answered in 2008).

The mentioned SAP notes are about the spool title that goes into the email subject, I believe. At least that's how I've previously used the solution described in the note 537832.
