How to call configure variant screen of MM02 in custom program?

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to call Configure Variant screen in MM02 (under MRP3 tab) in custom program and save material configuration?

If I were a developer then I would debug the original MM02 to find out how SAP is doing it in their original program
