Using service OData in diferent machine

Hello Experts,

I have one doubt. I built an fiori application but I have one problem the app it's located in one machine and the oData service needs to be implemented in other machine.

Can I use the oData service of machine X on machine Y ?

Which way I can do this ?

in such a case it is recommended to use a reverse proxy such as the

SAP Web Dispatcher or SAP API Management in front of both systems.
