Material is Excisable or not

Hello Guru's

How can we identify in the material master whether the material is excisable or not.If the output material is maintained against the material then it means it is Excisable and cenvatable.Please tell me how can we find out whether the material is Excisable or not.Pls reply by today itself.

    Hi,

    Check in table "J_1IMTCHID"

    If Material and Plant combination is existing in this table means it is excisable for that Plant.

      A material is excisable when

      1. The plant in which the material is created is excisable

      2. When there is an entry in the material chapter ID and cenvat determination table for the material.

      3. You use a excisable tax code in PO.

      You can view this in the material master itself if you have activated the Foreign trade Imports data tab. All the information in J1ID for this material will be visible in MM03 itself.

    Are you using same material for excisable and non excisable lots ?

    hi check ur j1id for teh material or check table J_1IMTCHID

    for the material excisable for the plant
