    Hi all

Open call with SAP. See the following return:

    "...

    Dear Customer,

I have taken over this incident from the area of document splitting for further review. Thank you very much for the details provided in the attachment.

The reason for the large amounts in your case does not actually relate to note 1072850, the note describes a different scenario where the amounts can also be increased by the splitting.

Your case refers to the issue described in attached note 1419567 - Restriction of clearing processes in General Ledger Accounting. (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#notes/1419567)

The reason why the amounts are increased by the splitting is because the user is creating a very long chain of clearing processes.

The user must review the long text in note 1419567 which provides the procedure to follow in order to avoid the large amounts and the error.

As described in the note so many documents should not be linked together. The general recommendation is to keep clearings small.

There is no inconsistency as the balances will match, however if you would like to avoid the large amounts please follow the recommendations from note 1419567. Otherwise, you could end up facing an overflow error at the time of clearing in case the amounts kept increasing.

    Best Regards,

Is this the document currency/amount or companycode currency/amount?
