Zebra ZT420 Printer - Long Text Printing From SAP SmartForms

Hello,

I am using Smartforms to print labels on the Zebra ZT420 and am having difficulty printing long text (see the image)

Any pointers on how can I resolve this?

I am not having issues printing the long text on regular printers, it is just the ZT420 that I am having issues with.

It's a silly question, but... did you try to change in SPAD the driver for your Zebra?

i got a similar problem because i was using a 200dpi drivers instead of a 300dpi (if i recall correctly) so text looked all overlapped on Zebra label.

Thanks Simone, but that did not help. Except for increasing the font sizes for all the element, the results are the same.

Which device type are you using?

There is no device type provided by Zebra for ZT420.

All the device types in note 1173046 are provided by Zebra (not SAP).

Since Zebra is a silver member (note 1100779) in the printer vendor program, you need to contact Zebra yourself to request the device type.

In the Wizard in SAP you can try any printer with the same dpi and print width. i.e. ZM400:

Printer Model device type

ZM400 (200 dpi) YZB200
ZM400 (300 dpi) YZB300
ZM400 (600 dpi) YZB600

Hello David,

I am using 'LZEB2 : Zebra label printer 203dpi'.

I, an ABAPer, do not have access to the SAP notes. Will get the notes from my Basis guys and check them, and get in touch with Zebra too.

amitpurohit I am facing the some issue when printing the long text . partially the texts are getting printed on the place where I have placed it and some parts are getting printed on very top of the window . The text ORGANIC, N.O. S. should be printed in continues with CORROSIVE LIQUID, ACIDIC like this

CORROSIVE LIQUID, ACIDIC ORGANIC, N.O. S as it's a single phrase but it's getting printed on the top when I try to print using zebra printer. Can you have some suggestion on this.
