You said you created the Idocs yourself, did you create the Idocs with document numbers or without document numbers?

If without a number in the IDoc then the IDoc should actually post with a document number retrieved from the internal number range.

If you have a document number already in the Idoc then it has to be a number which matches with the external document number range.

Thank you Jurgen for the quick response. Actually I did not create the IDOC my self, it was created by the user.

Is there a way I can check this document numbers to know if the user created with a document number or not?

    Thank you.

Thank you Jurgen, you are correct with document number already in the Idoc which matches with the external document number range. I took out the number and reprocess with BD87.

Per your request (In which transaction are you even seeing the message that you reported here?).

    Transaction code WE02.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm just a tester.

    Regards

sometimes I am just shaking my head and don't know where to start with a reply.

What are YOU actually doing in this process?

Initially you said "we created a bunch of Idocs" , now it have been others doing it, and you don't even know how to look into an idoc.

So I am confused what is actually your part in this story. If you are a tester then give it back to the developers and tell them that it has rubbish numbers and the error message 06223

Talk to the people who created the Idocs as they should be able to give you an answer right away.

In which transaction are you even seeing the message that you reported here?

An Idoc process is pretty much an automatic process, so the message can only be seen in an Idoc monitor, and if you work with the Idoc monitor then you should actually see the data of the Idoc right there.
