Hi gurus,
i have defined the number ranges for part two register as one seventy but when i posted the excise invoice it has taken the first number as one seventy three , what could be the reason how to bring the first number back to one seventy,
Thanks.
naga.
HI
if you have created the invoice but didnt save it and went on. after that if you go and at completion of the invoice it takes the next number. this is what system gives you. that is why you might be seeing the number 3.
this may be the possible reason for what you are seeing.

Dear guru,
i have specified the number ranges like
01 2008 150 to 1000
But after posting the first invoice in the register i could see the number started fron 154,155 respectively,
but i want the number range to be started from 150, if i change the current number to 149 and post the excise invoice which number system will take .and is ther any effect to the system in doing so.
Thanks,
naga
Hi
please goto number range and reset the curent number range to 170
you will get 170 as next number
