How to fill the dropdown list in a input field

Hi all,

I have three input fields, Month, Material type and material.

My requirement is to search material based on material type. So if i select one material type from the dropdown list, corresponding material should be populate in the material dropdown.

Pls suggest to this requirement i have

Hi Jeswin,

As per my knowledge, just create a dynamic entry list for the material type. There you have to choose the data service(Bapi) which provides you Material Type as input and material as the output values.

You have to choose the proper bapi here then only it will work. I hope it will be helpful.

Hi Jeswin,

Well, it actually depends which backend you are using.

Try to create a dynamic entry list which input value is the @Material_Type

Ignore the red marking and warning and deply the model.

If I remember correctly, this worked for R/3 but not for BI.
