HI Sergio,

I have sapgui installed on my windows xp desktop.

I have rfcsdk in my sapgui installation.It is located in folder C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui

and in that rfcsdk folder i have a bin , help, include, lib and text folders.

From the text folder , i copied saprfc.ini and placed it in bin folder.

Now i edited the saprfc.ini file present in bin folder.

DEST=DEV_R

TYPE=R

PROGID=BJACCESS.rfcexec

GWHOST=192.168.1.55

GWSERV=sapgw02

RFC_TRACE=0

DEST=DEV_R

TYPE=R

PROGID=BJACCESS.trfcexec

GWHOST=192.168.1.55

GWSERV=sapgw02

RFC_TRACE=0

i have added the above two entries in saprfc.ini file

here DEV in dest represents my sysid

BJACCESS is the name of the programid i registered in sap.

192.168.1.55 is the ip of the server

02 in sapgw02 is the system number

now i go to command prompt and cd to C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\rfcsdk\bin

and then run this command

rfcexec -aBJACCESS -g192.168.1.55 -xsapgw02

after running the above command

iget the following message twice in commandprompt

>>> try to openfile rfcexec.sec

and then

i get the log i have mentioned to you

I understand that this error pertains only to my desktop and rfcsdk installed here.So sorry for having misguided you previously.

This has got nothing to do with the server availability.

Try to check traces in ST11 directly after you execute this , also check windows event log in your PC..

P.S. are you see 'rfcexec.sec' file ?

Regards.
