Hi Gurus,

I was asked this question in an interview. I have never worked in ECC 6.0. The question was " what is the difference between 4.7 & 6.0 with respect to the general customization and SD. Give 10 differences each."

Can anyone please help.

Thanks & Regards

Kaushik

Hi,

the enterprise structure assignment in 4.7 is tree structure but in ECC6.0 is BOX shape.

U can find the condition types in pricing it is activating mode in 6.0 but not in 4.7

CIN is inbuilt in ecc6.0 but it is a spearate package in 4.7

user id and pass word is case sensitive in 6.0 but not in 4.7

In rebates function also there are some differences in 6.0

In the SAP 4.7 is having only R/3 System Intregartion.

Where as above 5.0 we have My SAP whcich includes all the RFCS of BIW ,CRM ,SCM, SRM itregartion into one.

you can Just Plug in all the other systems which can get connected and have mutlual interfacing.

In the CUstomizing of the SD enterprise structue Every thing is same only in the assignment part the assignment is user frendly and not as the EC01 overveiw you have to assign.

Next there are various addins in the Basic Functions ...

The Taxes CIN versions come as a intregarted packages.

There is not many changes in the interfacing screens.
